Our Youth Matter

Alms Chic welcomes youth participation. We would like to actively involve young people in decision-making processes on issues that affect them. Their contributions to our community are invaluable, they can empower themselves when they participate. 

Youth development is a continuing growth process.  Our duty as a community is to engage and help our youth meet their basic personal and social needs to be safe, feel cared for, to be valued, useful and grounded. They should be able to build skills and the abilities which allow them to function and contribute to their daily lives. Youth engagement is important because young people deserve the right to represent their own interests
