Healthy Living with Alms Chic @ The Commons
(Monday & Wednesday) 10:00am-11:30am
Gathering senior citizens within the community presenting workshops and discussions centered around healthy eating. These workshops and discussions will act as a vehicle to promote healthy lifestyles and lower the risk of developing chronic health conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes as well as, helping seniors control any other conditions they currently have.

Community Services for Adults/ Seniors Network 65+
(Wednesday) 10:30am-Noon)
Local senior residents meet, network and learn new things together. Activities include cooking, art, writing, computer literacy and volunteerism. Current volunteers come in each Wednesday morning and prepare coffee and breakfast – they hold a raffle to help cover the cost of supplies.

Housing Assistance Program @ The Commons. (Walk Ins 10:00am-1:30pm)
The Eviction Prevention/Tenant’s Rights program provides direct assistance and advocacy services to households facing eviction and landlord/tenant issues that threatened the affordability and living conditions of their home. Intervention on behalf of families prevents homelessness and displacement of vulnerable tenants while preserving decent affordable housing stock on the Upper West Side.
