What are Developmental Disabilities?
Developmental Disabilities (DD) include (but are not limited to) Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and other Neurological impairments that manifest themselves before age 22.
Intellectual disability is a disability characterized by significant limitations both in intellectual functioning (reasoning, learning, problem solving) and in adaptive behavior, which covers a range of everyday social and practical skills. This disability originates before the age of 18.

Developmental disabilities are severe, long-term problems, which may be physical, such as blindness. The problem can affect mental ability, affecting one’s learning ability, which could be both physical and mental, the problems are usually life-long and can affect everyday living
